Ignatius PIASECKI was born 04 Jul 1887, in Poland, a son of John Sr. and Walentyna (RACZKIEWICA) PIASECKI. While still quite young, he came with his parents to the United States in 1891. In 1900 the family lived at 875 W. 17th Street, Chicago, Illinois.

1920 Census
Ignacy married Julia DERA 25 Oct 1911, in Hawthorne, Cook County. Julia was born 1886 or 1892, a daughter of Ignatius and Frances DERA. Ignacy and Julia had several children. Harry (1908), Joseph (1915), and William (1917) survived infancy. Marianne, was born 04 Dec 1920 and died 19 Jan 1921. Julia died 10 Mar 1924.
Ignacy and Mrs. Mary (GOWLIK) KRZYSTOFCZYK were married. Children from each of their previous marriages formed a large family. Their baby, Eleanor Petronela PIASECKI, was born 18 May 1926.

Ignatius PIASECKI died 21 Feb 1956, in Cicero, Cook County, Illinois. He was buried in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Cook County, Illinois.
